My name is Patrick, I am a 53-year old coal miner, I have 32 years working in the mines plus I am a recovering alcoholic. Being in a drunken stooper for 25 years, you are learning to do things all over again. I had to convert my energy from getting drunk to trying to figure out what do I do now. The way that the economy is and how the new government is coal mining is not in everybody's agenda.
My wife's cousin introduced me into metal detecting, and I have been hooked ever since. I began finding out about the history of Utah, and I began reading history books and finding out where to explore. I have been exploring Spanish mines, outlaw hideouts and lots of other places. I guess that is what life is about, exploring hidden treasures.
Let me remind you I am 53-years old, we have a computer at the house, and I took some computer classes and began figuring out how it works and that is not easy. I wanted to find a home business so I could have another income, and learn how the internet works. I checked into this business what I was after and I liked it so I signed up. This business teaches me and I am making money. Thanks to their instructors, I have learned a lot. I hope on quitting my coalmining job one day, master my business, and have another business into guiding these places I have discovered in metal detecting. I am really enjoying my life right now, and if I can help other people, I will.
If you have, any questions please ask and maybe I can help. I have seen a lot happen in these mines and now I am seeing it happen to our country. Whether you like it or not, do not get caught with your pants down like I did, I lost half of my retirement. Prepare yourself.
I invite you to log on to my website at www.diggingforlosttreasureenterprises.com, if you would like to email me or comment of this subject and tell me how you feel. My email address is diggingforlostreasures@gmail.com and I look forward to sharing our thoughts and adventures.
